Thursday 5 June 2025, 16.00, Sokol Hall Olomouc-Chválkovice

Choral concert at Sokol Hall Chválkovice

The first choral concert of the festival will take place in the Chválkovice Sokol Hall, where the festival is returning for the umpteenth time. There will be a rich musical programme with choirs from Poland and Macedonia and a vocal ensemble from the Czech Republic. Tickets can be purchased at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the concert (payment in cash only). The concert will be held with the support of the Commission of the Municipal District No. 6 Olomouc-Chválkovice.

Opening concert Czechoslovak Evening

Thursday 5 June 2025, 18.00, Corpus Christi Chapel, Palacký University Arts Centre

The opening concert to welcome the choirs that have been participating in the festival since the first day will be a meeting of young voices from one Czech and two Slovak choirs. It is not only a celebration of this year's ‘Slovak’ cultural year in Olomouc, but also a reminder of the bond between the two countries. The choice of the programme is left entirely to the performers and its aim will be only one - to please you and us!

Concert Opening of Slovak season in Olomouc

Friday 6 June 2025, 18.30, St. Moritz Church

The official opening of the Slovak Season in Olomouc will be preceded by the traditional parade in honour of the patron saint of the city, St. Pavlina, starting at 18.00 from the stage on Horní náměstí. As the procession arrives at St. Moritz Church, the Engler Organ will sound and the Bratislava Boys Choir will provide musical accompaniment. After the relics of the patron saint are laid to rest, the ceremony will seamlessly transform into a full-fledged concert.

Absolute Winner Competition of Mundi Cantant

Come and experience the unforgettable atmosphere offered by the final competition of the five best ranked choirs for the title of the Absolute Winner of the Mundi Cantant competition. The choirs that received the highest ratings from the expert jury will compete here. The evening will offer the best of this year's festival - not to be missed! Tickets will be available for purchase during Saturday's competition (9.00-15.00) in the foyer of the Reduta Hall or 30 minutes before the concert (payment in cash only).

Open Air concert Across the music world with the vocal ensemble SKETY

Saturday 7 June 2025, 20.30, Upper Square

A unique musical experience for fans of vocal jazz and popular music will be offered by the performance of the vocal group Skety, which ranks among the world's top. Recent successes include the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) in Boston, USA, where the group won two major awards - Best Jazz Album and Best Jazz Song. The open-air concert will also include the premiere of Olomouc Afri-Codes by Petr Wajsar, written especially for the festival, which will be performed by Lenka Dohnalová's Chamber Choir and other festival choirs who have prepared the piece with its author during festival workshops.
